Stabilizers are used on both sides of the fabric for all embroidery and will dissolve when the WeinerWrap dachshund coat is washed. You may also wet embroidered areas to dissolve the stabilizer with out washing the coat. If you only wet the area, make sure to dissolve and remove all stabilizer on both sides of the fabric or the area will harden. Any direct moisture will dissolve the stabilizer.
